Moose: Happy Birthday Baby!
How Big?: Moose is a ONE YEAR OLD! Where does the time go???? It's crazy. He is 30.5" tall, and he weighs just over 22 pounds. He is in the 75th percentile, so he has slowed up a bit. But he is still a big boy!
Clothing Size?: Everything he wears is 18 months or bigger. He really needs 2T jammies. I don't know why but they run so darn small. It seems like we never have enough pjs. We are constantly washing and washing jammers. His diapers are a 4. We are liking the movers diapers, but now that he's bigger we are less brand picky. Huggies is what we normally get, though.
What/When is he eating?: He LOVES grapes! He would eat GRAPES over anything else. I have no idea why. We are supposed to be weaning him from his bottle, but it's not working out so well right now. He loves his bottle, and mommy and daddy do, too. It's the only thing that gets out tornado to sleep. We are going to have to work on this over the summer.
Movement?: Holy Cow! Baby boy is up, walking, running, stumbling, tripping, and taking off again. He is a crazy man! Don't turn your head or he is gone! Milestones?: He is picking up more words... Yeah, yeah, yeah is his new thing! He is walking and running, which is EPIC. He is a one year old. He can eat food without it being in tiny bites. (Most of the time he will tear it off...)
Hardest Moment(s) of the Month: Realizing that my baby isn't a baby anymore, but firmly a toddler has been a challenge. I just finally feel like I have the hang of this mom thing, and wham he's just getting bigger. We are in the "no, no, no" phase, too. Moose likes to play in the dog's water, so we are constantly telling him "no." It's a challenge to know what is appropriate discipline for a 1 year old. We believe in "spare the rod, spoil the child," so we are doing our best to raise a well-mannered young man! Say a prayer for that!
Best Moment(s) of the Month: His birthday party was a huge success. We have so much family that even just a family party is a big party! I had been super sick with the flu, right before the big day, so we were a little last minute in getting everything together, but I think it turned out FABULOUS! (Pics below)

Looking Forward to: The teacher countdown to summer has officially begun! I cannot wait to get Moose in the pool. I cannot wait to get in the pool! We will keep Sam in the shade ;)
