How far along: 31 Weeks 2 days
Total weight gain: 29.5 pounds. Weight = 153.5
Maternity Clothes? The blue pants in the 33 week picture are by far my most comfortable pants... Drawback to that awesome fact is that they are ROYAL BLUE PANTS. People notice if you wear those bad boys too often. ARG! I got them at Motherhood last pregnancy, but I just can't stomach buying more maternity clothes this late in the game. I will head back to school with a very interesting maternity clothes challenge lol.
Stretch Marks? Nothing red and angry to report.
Best moment(s) this week: Um Holy Cow, Time is literally flying past me... I am doing the bi-weekly blogging at this point because I can barely shower much less blog. I thoroughly enjoyed last week (our last week of summer). My mom and step-padre kept master Moose on Saturday night for about two hours and the hubby and I had an impromptu date night dinner (paid for in gift cards! - double score). I LOVE my son, so don't think that I'm saying I don't. Seriously, though, there is nothing like getting to hang out for a few hours with the person you CHOOSE to love with every ounce of your being. The husband wife relationship is something we take might serious in this house. That was such a treat!
Miss Anything? I am missing all that second trimester energy... where oh where did you go little Energizer self?
Movement: He has grown! He has the hiccups all the time, and he is kicking me strongly now.
Food Cravings: Last week, I had this gnarly craving for giant chocolate cake, but luckily my mom is a complete mind reader and made a homemade chocolate cake with chocolate icing (also from scratch), even though I didn't tell her that I was craving it!!!
Anything making you queasy or sick: The smell of dog food... but that's pretty much like everyday life not just preggo.
Labor Signs: More Braxton Hicks
Symptoms: Loads of symptoms.... I am exhausted and started to have swollen feet. I have heartburn and can't sleep all night long anymore. The turning side to side pain isn't as bad, but that darn muscle certainly doesn't feel any better.
Belly Button in or out? Flatty flat
Wedding rings on or off? on... for now. Not sure how much longer.
Looking forward to: I should say I'm looking forward to starting school, since we are back at it (students start Monday)... But really I'm looking forward to finishing out this pregnancy. I LOVE my job, and it is a huge part of who I am. Ultimately, though, I am a wife and momma first, so right now I'm soaking up as much of my two boys as I can before baby makes his arrival.

How far along: 31 Weeks 3 daysTotal weight gain: 25 pounds. Weight = 149
Maternity Clothes? I had to bust out my one pair of full bellied black slacks this week for work. I am also moving into my dresses that I wore at the end of my last pregnancy. Good news is that this dress which fit well last time is still a bit big on me!!!
Stretch Marks? Nothing exciting to report this week!
Best moment(s) this week: We finished painting baby Bo's nursery!!! I am so excited to see it shaping up. I had to work a lot this week, so I have been very busy. There's nothing better than coming up to your sweet baby after a day of work, and soon, we will be coming home to two of them.
Miss Anything? I am still focused on the movement restrictions. My muscles aches are more over the top than ever, so I am really struggling to get up from chairs, the floor, the bed, and just about everything.Movement: Oh man! He is kicking his little feet all at the top of my belly. The motion that I can feel now is so much more than the previously. He even had the hiccups the other day.
Food Cravings: Nothing exciting to report here.
Anything making you queasy or sick: The iron is still a pain on my tummy, but the doctor says I don't have to take it twice a day.
Labor Signs: I have had a few more Braxton Hicks, so I am trying to keep in mind that if I go full tilt this boy is going to show up early. I feel overwhelmed with needing to get everything ready for baby. I know -it's half Autumn-stress, half-hormones and some sort of heat haze, but I am a mess.
Symptoms: I have a ton of things going on with me! Anemic, acne, hot flashes, tired, muscle aches... and still I LOVE BEING PREGNANT! Who am I? lol
Belly Button in or out? Very shallow still in
Wedding rings on or off? on
Looking forward to: I am looking forward to getting everything put together for the baby. Thinking about packing the hospital bag makes me so antsy.
This is the same dress last time! My bump wasn't as pronounced, but I think it's because I gained more weight all over. It's crazy to think that there was ever a time before I had kids... What a different life!

How Big?: He is big, too big! 15 months are seriously growing right in front of my eyes. He is 25 pounds and 32 inches tall. He is 95th percentile for his head and height. He is 80th percentile for his weight.
Clothing Size?: My child is a small giant. 18 month tops do NOT fit in the slightest. We are solidly in the 2T shirts. Pants seem to be a bit more challenging. He is tall for 15 months, but he isn't quite tall enough for 2T pants. (The 2T shorts are just long.) 24 month pants seem to fit better length wise, but some of them are snug in the waist. PJs which all seem to run small must be a 3T, now, and honestly, I have just picked him up some 4T t-shirts at the resale shop for him to sleep in. He's a baby, and it's still hot out. Pants aren't strictly required. We are also shifting up to size 5 diapers because 4's were getting a little snugalug.
What/When is he eating?: The highchair and Moose are rapidly growing apart. He prefers a big boy chair, which means he eats less. We let him snack often because I don't think he eats enough at mealtimes (double-edged sword I know!!!). He absolutely LOVES ravioli. (see above picture, haha.) He also is a blueberry monster.Movement?: We are working on jumping and swimming. He just goes all the time. He seems fearless. He can climb way too many things.
Milestones?: Words. Words. Words. We have been working on animal noises non-stop (because he likes them). This last week he has really started to soar with them!!! He is attempting to oink, meow, moo, and quack. He can firmly woof. He is trying like crazy to communicate! First travel experience this month, too! We went camping at Tyler State Park with my parents. He loved it. He pushed his Tonka truck up and down the hill over and over. He is such a good natured little boy! First time sleeping somewhere without a crib (in the camper with me). Crazy crazy stuff!
Hardest Moment(s) of the Month: Moose has started screaming. It's not a delightful squeal. It's not a little oh-poor-baby scream. It is an all out someone must be murdering me SCREAM-at-the-top-of-my-lungs scream! It has been very hard on us and our eardrums. The screams are because he is hungry or tired or wet or stuck somewhere or can't get his toy or happy or perfectly content or wants to see how loud he can scream... you get it? He just screams. We are working on it, but there is nothing harder than trying to communicate with a toddler (who occasionally is replaced by a screaming alien baby). All my research says that this, too, shall pass. I believe it, but I am sooooo ready for that to happen already.
Best Moment(s) of the Month: This month has been incredibly awesome! The bigger he gets the more he is capable of. He seems to be getting more and more comfortable with new places. The park is less warming up to it and more playing. The pool has turned into a work out for Sam and I to keep a hold of our 15 months old who doesn't seem to realize he can't actually swim. Taking him places is such a blast! I know that there are folks that want to wait and enjoy their lives without kids, and I do get it. But I looked at Sam the other day and told him that life had only truly started for us 15 months ago, and we had no idea before! I am not saying your kids are your whole life because yes, I am a whole person aside from Moose's mom, but I cannot even describe the perspective my little boy gives me on the world. He makes me a better person. I am less judgemental and more understanding. My definition of patience has changed more than a little, and I cannot even describe the love I now know. It's been the best summer!
Looking Forward to: Well... I cannot say I am looking forward to school starting this year, but I can say that I will be excited for Moose to get to go to Football games. There will be lots of fun to be had in the next month I am sure :)
Total weight gain: 23 pounds. Weight = 147
Maternity Clothes? I have pulled a really low in my pelvis, and it is making wearing the low banded elastic shorts and pants super uncomfortable. Not super sure what I will be wearing when school starts.
Stretch Marks? My first pregnancy stretch marks are nice and silvery, but they are lots more visible right now because of being stretch again. I haven't had any new ones, though.
Best moment(s) this week: I missed another blog week. (I had a feeling this would be more bi-weekly this go round. Nature of the beast ....) A ton of really great things have been going on for our family at the tail end of this awesome summer. We got to go camping (Moose's first traveling experience) with my parents. He has taken to the pool like a little fish man. (Thank goodness for mommy patience.) Baby Bo and I have been bonding as he kicks me even more. We are so incredibly blessed!
Miss Anything? I am very very much missing my ability to keep going and to move with ease. Thanks to my achy muscles, I am really starting to struggle with that this time.
Movement: He is getting really active around bedtime. It's been really fun! Sam is able to feel him (even though Sam is still having a hard time connecting that it's another person in there.. I get it. It's a little odd.) Having a toddler this time around makes it more real for me that he's a little guy.
Food Cravings: Really I haven't craved much... Sweets always sound good. Lots of food sounds good, lol!
Anything making you queasy or sick: The iron I am taking isn't 100% nice to my stomach.
Labor Signs: I had my first Braxton Hicks this week, so I know that we are getting nearer and neared to baby time. (Which reallllllly freaks me out! We have WAY too much left to do!)
Symptoms: I am having a lot of trouble bending. My pelvic muscle is sometimes aching by the end of the day. The muscle I pulled with my first pregnancy has been bothering me again too. My feet are definitely tired by the end of a day. I have headaches some and heartburn often. Peeing every ten minutes is my life. I know all these things sound a bit negative, but really, honestly, I LOVE BEING PREGNANT! This is great!
Belly Button in or out? Very shallow still in
Wedding rings on or off? on
Weekly Wisdom: Love every single moment of it.
Looking forward to: I cannot wait to keep feeling this baby rock and roll in my belly! I absolutely love the little special things I get to enjoy with just baby and I.
